Social Security Institution (SGK) warns

Social Security Institution (SGK), announced that SGK reminded the retired employees that were retired after 2004 and began their own business via the official journal. The institution defensed itself stating that debates about the retirees of SSK (Social Insurance Institution-previous name of SGK) and retirement fund were not informed for 6 years was imperfect data and stated that the related announcement was given in the official journal and informed that besides the legal regulations announced in the official journal are mandatory to know, the issue was taken as a liability in media and reflected to public.

In the written statement distributed by the institution, it is indicated that such statements were included as some of the citizens were not informed about the social security premium and they would pay if they were. Social Security (SGK) recorded that the cause of the difficulties with the collection of the premiums were claimed to be the imperfect information given to the public. The institution explained that the legal regulations announced in the official journal are mandatory to know, the issue was taken as a liability in media and reflected to public.

 

 

THE ISSUE WAS DETERMINED UPON THE COMPARISON OF TAX RECORDS

The institution pointed out that after gathering all the social security instutions under a single name (SSK to SGK), it is determined that the records of the retirees get paid by SSK were compared with the tax records and informed that the records of SSK retirees and informed that  the retirees that do not have any record in the transferred Social Insurance Institution (SSK) although being liable of social security premium were determined and such comparisons had been continued reccurrently. The retirees determined within the transferres Social Insurance Institution (SSK) will be compensated in terms of social security premiums in relation with the time span they were engaged in activity. The institution also stated that informing the debts caused by social security premium liability is not a new situation and the operations held after the gathering of the organisations had been conducted all along, and insuranceds who has cumulated social security premium debts have an opportunity to make partial payments for 36 months the longest through installment and postponement.
